Description My first stamp
Can't wait to make more!
So happy Iaza co-operated! IT NEVER DOES! 8D

Anyways, don't you just hate it when you go around seeing people baw about how much they hate their art? I hate people who dislike their art in the first place, but when they baw about it, it really gets me.

You can use it, I don't care

Opinions are okay, if you baw back, I could care less

I dislike my art. We don't see eye-to-eye. But that's mostly because I drew the eyes on lopsided. ;D

Ugh, I know! Why do you even bother posting your art anywhere if you hate it so much, hm? Attention-whore much?

I've seen a lot more 'my art sux' journals begging for attention than the ones who think they're god's gift to the art world. Soo, I can see where this comes from.

As for myself, I like my art, but hate that it isn't where I want it to be yet. It's a forever looping cycle.

Exactly! I especially hate websites where the admins think the world circles around them. Not here though, the admins are nice.

I get that a lot, too.

I hate my older art cause compared to now, it sucks. But the art I make now I really love it ;u;
It irritates me when people go all "FUCK MY ART SUCKS ASS IT'S THE WORST" when it looks fantastic. I hate it too.

Same! I look at it an think 'Did I really draw that bad a year ago?'
They're just attention whores.

Meh. I see more people who are unreasonably proud of their art. Most of the self-critical artists I've run across have been realistic about it, being able to point out what they need to work on, with a clear plan on what the want to improve on.

Besides, after spending seven hours staring at the same image trying to make it worthy of the public eye, you're either going to love or hate the thing. Or, if you're me, you spend fifteen minutes on composing a poem and refuse to believe anyone who tells you it's awesome, because you spent fifteen goddamn minutes on it, how could it possibly be good?

I see a lot of underaged artists, due to the subject of Warrior Cats. It's too overrated. Due to the fact that they're fanatards of someone like flightfootwarrior, they think their art is terrible compared to hers, but she's no better, considering she ignores her comments, but then again, she receives like HUNDREDS in one day. So I can't really blame her.

I get art done quickly, whether it's quality is good or bad I love everything I do, but I'm not stuck-up about it, and I know I'm not the worlds most amazing artist. But I know I have talent (Compared to the fact that 98% of the Canadians I see on here are maybe older then 25. And all they do is take photographs, not that I dislike that, I just want to see more Canadian artists)

Well, considering that the Warriors books are kind of meant for younger people, and younger people tend to be more critical of themselves when comparing themselves to others, I think that's somewhat to be expected. And popularity is a double-edged sword on this site, with great popularity comes a bursting inbox, and so forth. It's really no different from an author getting famous enough that there's just not enough time in the day to answer every fan's email(s).

I'm awful in that respect, because I'll think something is amazing right up until I get to the point of posting it, and then I automatically assume it sucks. >.>

(But... photographers are artists. I mean, any dummy with a camera thinks they're a photographer, but a real photographer knows how to compose an image using their surroundings and the settings on their camera. ovo)

I wouldn't quite say so, with cat brutally slaughtering each other, I don't even know why I'm reading it! I can't stand gore! ><

Yeah, I used to get that, but all of a sudden, I assume even the crappiest of art is amazing, maybe my brain died! XD

True. My dad has a dA and he posts the stuff he sees while working.I wish I knew his dA! Not that I'd watch him or even say something to him, I'm just curious! He's the whole reason I have my dA again! He convinced my mother to let me get a new one!

Sure, they have gore, but the plots themselves aren't what I'd expect from a book meant for adult readers (unless you're implying they are smut books, because I fully expect less-than-optimal plots for those.;D); they're not, for lack of a better word, sophisticated enough, in my opinion.

Heh. I used to be that way.

Obviously you have a cool dad. XD

True, I'm not into reading the series that much, I only plan on getting the next book, because I read five books in the second series and lost interest. And Erin Hunter messes up the grammar and names all the time, but then again, who's going to remember over 800 different names?

Maybe it's preparing to learn math instead of anatomy

Both of my parents, not to sound 'smart' or anything, are less mature then me. It's annoying when my mother randomly starts talking about 'purple people eaters' and says 'Elephant shoe' because it rhymes with I love you. It gets annoying, the fact that you can school your own mother XD

It doesn't help that the actual books were written by two different people switching off from book to book. Whether that fact actually works in their defense is questionable, since it seems like two people would have twice the ability to keep track of stuff. It worked surprisingly well with the first series, less so with the second series (understandable given that five of the six were written by the same person). And by the third series, they'd over-stayed their welcome or something, because I promptly decided to quit reading after the first book. XD

Maybe.

My friend's mom is kind of like that. I love the woman to bits, but there's only so many "Deanna-bobanna"s I can take, y'know? Admittedly, she's better than my dad; he's an avid Twilight fan.

Really? I guess it can be a 50/50 thing, I see people hating on their art and always bawing about how 'crappy' it is, but then again--
