R. Cain a.k.a. "Mr. Arcane" (see what I did there?) is my own (copyrighted!) creation and an original character concept realized with HeroMachine3.

Richard Cain is a privat eye / sorcerer with a partially demonic heritage working on cases related to the supernatural and otherwise weird - a psychic detective with a liability to the occult if you like. He often works together with the “Witch Hunter” – but most of the time reluctant, since he never knows when his occasional partner, who sees the world in black and white (where all magic is black), will kill him due to his demonic heritage.

After years of training, R. Cain possesses vast mastery of the occult arts and is able to use his inherent ability to manipulate the ambient mystical energy of the universe to perform a great many mystic feats and cast spells from different magic disciplines of a near infinite variety.

His mystic abilites include:

Astral Projection, Intangibility, Dimensional Travel, Time Manipulation, Levitation, Teleportation, Telekinesis, Telepathy, Hypnotism, Illusion Casting, Pyrokinesis, Mystic Bolts, Standard Protective Shields, Conjuring of Objects, Transmutation, Necromancy, Golemancy, Exorcism, Black Magic Cursing, Demon Summoning, and many more.
