Description
Yep, it's the game-accurate damaged Alpha from BS 2. I liked the character, especially how damaged it looks. Although Omega was the only existing figure of the Alpha Series, I thought that would be appropriate to change into the damaged Alpha, especially for having a weapon from the game.

This one took me a while, mostly because of finding apoxy available in my area, and refixing some of the details from either source comparison or the small apoxy pieces falling off. It originally started in late July, in which most of the base figure had the existing parts carved and shaped to match the character. By the time I found apoxy available ( it was Magic-Sculpt, since there was no Aves Apoxy anywhere), I had already used latex rubber to make detail patches (to fix carve marks) and copies of existing parts, like the spring part of the brace, the helmet camera (I accidently trimmed too far on it). The apoxy not only helped in detailing the figure, but was used to cast the armor copies. The hose was the same hose from the figure, only coated with urethane glue to make it look smooth like the character's hose, which took a lot of trial and error to thicken it enough to not have those details show. I had finally completed sculpting two days ago, which I reinforced the Apoxy pieces to the figure with a coat of polyurethane satin finish, and painted it the next day. It took me a week to carve it, three days of using rubber to make detailed patches and copying existing pieces, 4 months of apoxy work, and a day of painting it.

This character comes from BioShock 2, which itself is by 2K, and the base figure used for customizing it comes from NECA.
