So I have a small story to tell about these shots.

My mother and I went on this glorious overly hyped and complicated quest to find a new kitchen light. Went to every place you could imagine for household appliances/wares until we finally stumbled on a smaller than desired but attractive light. We were a tad worried this light wouldn't light up the entirety of the kitchen so we asked for the strongest possible of fluorescent lights. A very giggly man ( I didn't realize why he was so giggly at the time ) handed us he promised the -strongest possible- lights for our kitchen.

Fucking asshole.

We get home and this light could probably burn the cornea's out of whatever God created fluorescent bulbs and asshole Home Depot employees.

So every day when I had to crawl out of my dark and beautiful basement I'd squint and grimace at this light as I made my way through the house. (Cuz I do that to things I dislike, which I should probably break the habit of cuz occasionally I find myself doing it to people at college I dislike. o_o; Tad obvious.) Anywho because of the fact I hated this thing so much I didn't see it as an obvious opportunity to get some macro shots of objects underneath.

So. I faced what I hated and used it.
I raped it.
I conquered it.
