Q - “Poppy
Poppy has been my absolute favorite villager for about a year now, and this is the story of why!
This story starts with me looking at the ac wiki, just curious as to which villagers share birthdays with my friends and family. I decided to look at my own birthday, August 5th, and much to my surprise it was an adorable red squirrel named Poppy! I fell in love right away with her old cartoonish eyes and the pretty red and blue-ish colors on her body. From that moment on I wanted nothing but to have Poppy in my town, but I had no means of getting her other than relying on luck. That luck never came, until I joined this community!
I noticed that people would trade villagers, so everyday I would look to see if there was someone willing to part with Poppy. One day, to my utter surprise, I found an auction chat for this squirrel! I bid against one other person, but they won in the end. Then the unexpected happened; they let me have Poppy! So, on that day I went to the seller's town and finally got Poppy in my town! She still lives in my town, and as of today I have best friend status in game with her! I love everything about her, from her adorable look to her kind personality! I'm so glad that I have this squirrel in my town, and I'm even more glad I had the opportunity to even say that she's a resident of my town.

Mayor Rainbuster asked me to draw their character with Poppy

Originally I wasn’t sure I liked how I drew Poppy. As some of you may know I don’t really draw anthropomorphised characters. Doing Animal Crossing art however is a great way to practice.
I’m continuing to push myself with backgrounds and scenery so any tips would be appreciated.
