Happy new year! I had an assignment to draw an illustration that could be used as a desktop wallpaper or banner. The spec was pretty simple, just to make it a bit winter-y, so I went a bit mad and threw some drakes all over it. :^D I had the idea for a ranger initially, but admittedly I went a bit berserk haha, I think rather than companions they might just be lizard friends at this point. I designed the drakes by looking at photographs of dinosaurs and dogs! I think the dog aspect gave them a bit of a dopey charm. As someone who usually is just tasked with humans, it was a fun challenge haha! I will definitely be practicing more reptilian friends this year, I'm sure.
