Yes, I had once while walking home one night with my father when it crossed the street behind us. I sensed it and noticed it was trying to follow, but we managed to get home before it could catch up with both of us.

Eeek!!! That's so scary! I love it! I read stories on pontianaks all the time. One time, I was online reading stories after midnight and I thought I saw something white flash by the window, I got so scared that I went to bed. XD
well anyways, great picture! I really get the feeling of "evil intentions".

yes just the other day infact, it was quite a cold night and i was walking home, all day i had a suspicion that something benevolent was amidst. My walk home was fairly breif, for as i turned down my alley, this Pontianak assaluted me, and tore my physical body limb from limb.
So you see i have seen one!, ok getting slightly serious now, this pic acctualy reminds me of the "red cap" goblins of european folk lore, besides all that nice work better job coloring than i can do
