While visiting family for memorial day, my cousins daughter who is 8 asked me to make a Jedi based on Elsa and Anna from Frozen, she wanted the Jedi to be sisters with my OC Rina Sha'nek so I obliged her and we came up with the unoriginal name Elsanna and her backstory.

Born 53BBY on the expansion region planet of Darnellia. Elsanna Darnell was born to royalty, her mother was Princess Fayma Darnell and her father was Eltef Sha’nek a young business man from Alderaan. Elsanna was the product of a one night shared between the two lovers. Eltef would leave the planet not knowing he fathered a child and would later Marry a Togruta woman, Mari Denan and bare another child, a hybrid they would name Rina.

Elsanna was found to be force sensitive and given to the Jedi Order at only a year old by her mother out of fear of what would happen to her if King Hajame found out she bared a child. As Elsanna grew up in the Jedi Order her royal blood was not forgotten due to her mother giving her an necklace with symbols of the royal family when she was taken in hopes of them meeting again one day. In her early years at the temple Elsanna became somewhat of a prodigy and excel at all lessons given. In 43BBY at age 10 she would meet fellow Padawan, 7 year old Rina Sha’nek and the two would become close friends unaware of their shared father.

When Elsanna was 13 in 40BBY she was selected to be apprentice to Haana Yuring, a former council member and archeologist. In her teen years under the tutelage of Master Yuring Elsanna would become a skilled fighter and took an interest in archiving, The two Jedi would be sent on missions by the Council to rediscover lost Jedi outposts, shrines and temples such as the abandoned enclave on Dantooine.

Elsanna would be promoted to Jedi Knight in 30BBY at age 23 and Master by 24BBY at age 29, she would continue her journeys looking for lost Jedi locations and knowledge until the outbreak of the Clone Wars in 22BBY. During the Clone Wars Elsanna spent most of her time in the Jedi Archives with Madam Jocosta Nu organizing the vast amounts of information and artifacts brought back through her travels alone and with Master Yuring. During 19BBY the Clone War had entered its third year, Elsanna would keep in touch with her friend Rina Sha’nek who at that point had taken command of the 73rd Armor Division and became a Jedi General.

In late 18BBY the Jedi council decided to reveal to Elsanna, 35, and Rina Sha’nek, 31, of their true parentage. Rina and Elsanna were half sisters sharing the same father, Eltef Sha’nek. The news of the two friends being sisters shocked both of them but did explain why they were so close and drawn to each other over the course of their lives. The two would become near inseparable after the news and Elsanna would be welcomed as a second General of the 73rd Armor Division mainly leading the 539th battalion with Commander Trayce.
