I tried all I could to save him the first time. My sister played the game before me and I figured out from what I heard he would die if I tried to cure the Krogans. I liked Eve so it hurt me to betray her people, but I chosed to do it anyway, while thinking it was horrible to force us to pick between friends. I was upset and hesitant throughout the whole mission.
I never told anybody about the sabotage and it was becoming a mess, I even threatened Mordin I would stop myself him if I had to !.. But when Shepard aimed at him, I knew I couldn't do anything anymore so I froze and prayed he wouldn't make it in time... But he did. :/ I was wrong to think my sis' made a mistake and I could avoid that. I was so angry at Wreav for being my new ally, I wanted the salarians, I wanted Mordin !

Mordin is such a great character. On my first playthrough I mostly ignored him, but on replays put him in my party frequently and grew to love having him around.

The Krogan should build a statue of Mordin at the center of their new Civilization. It should say at the bottom: Dr. Mordin Solus. The salarian who sacrificed himself to save teh Krogan from certain extinction.
