( as I followed DeviantArts instructions about bundling the permission with the file into a zip, I couldn't have a full view of the picture - so in order to see it as it was supposed to be seen you'll have to downloadt it - please do! )

This picture/wallpaper is based on a photo by Pieter Hugo (www.pieterhugo.com) and I decided to show it to him and if possible get his permission to post it on the internet.

Great to get such a nice and positive response so quickly and even better that he liked it!

I'm really happy the way this piece turned out. I used Photoshop and Wacom drawing tablet. I think I might have spent 4-6 hours on it - not quite sure.

I guess this is a so called "paintover" where I found a photo that really inspired me, so I drew its outline and then colored it in my own way/style. But anyways I hope you like it Some of you pro's might not think this is much of an achievement, but to me it is as I really feel I learned a lot from making this picture and I feel really good about the way it turned out in the end.
