This is really nice..I've seen this type scene many times here, and I've always meant to photograph it, but I always see it from the car and never have camera with me. You got the sky at just the right time, and I really like how you left the traffic lights and as many power lines as possible in the photos..great geometry to it, and wow..all those birds!

I'm really glad you like it. I didn't know you lived 'here'. This is near Boca Raton. Are you in South Florida?

and yes, I was able to capture this, because I was carrying the digital camera everywhere I went! I caught this in the car right as the light turned green. You know how the drivers are here, they honked at me to get moving! I waved sorry, but I wasn't sorry to get this great shot.

I love all the power lines. I went thru a phase where I started shooting the intersections with as many power lines as possible!

And the birds are cool too. What's also amazing is when they decide to fly away. All at the same time!! They all seem to know when. And the sky is filled with a big black cloud of birds. incredible!

Take care! Thanks again!!

Very pretty sky in that picture, though stoplights on wires is quite a werid thing to take a picture of.

thanks for looking. i liked the look of the all the wires against the sky, almost like cutting the sky up in diamonds and polygons. plus there seemed to be a thousand birds on the wires (it takes a lot of little birds to fill up a hundred feet of cable)

weird is good, i like to be different; thanks!

thanks for the comments! And glad you liked the picture!

sorry you didn't like the wires. I liked how they seemed to be all connected, even ones going in opposite directions. oh well...

yes, gorgeous sunsets! isn't it great living in Florida? well, except for those pesky hurricanes....

we need a hurricane emoticon maybe with no roof on it? or with blue tarp on it ?

well, back to this, even in winter:
