Description This is my cousins cat, not mine. I took this a couple of weeks ago when I was playing around with my camera.
I don't usually upload any of my photography on this account, but I haven't been doing any drawings lately so thought I might as well add this into the mix to keep things interested.

Yes, the eyes have been enhanced

Taken on my new Canon EOS 600D

Is that a good camera, do you think? My mum's been wanting to buy me one and I'm looking for recommendations.

And that is a truly lovely photo. c:

I think it's a pretty awesome camera.
I love the flip screen (I had to do a whole photography folio using photos of myself - so it reeaaallly helped) and it's automatic setting is really easy to use, as well as having the option to play with alot of the settings manually.
It also has alot of optional lenses to buy, so the options are pretty limitless.
I don't really know what I'm blabbering on about anymore. xD But my brother is my photographic specialist salesman at his work, and he recommended the camera for me (since he knew the ins and outs of it way more than me) and it's been good ever since. C:

Thanks. C:
DA killed the colours on that photo which I'm gutted about. D;

Ah, okay. c: Does is have a macro setting?
Also, if you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost?

Oh shush love. It's wonderful. ;u;

It does have a macro setting. C: Though buying separate lenses would allow you to get even closer to the objects and achieve better photos. I was just playing with the macro then and found that the camera had some trouble doing automatic focus on such close up things (even on the macro setting) but so long as you switched it to manual focus it would be easy peasy.
If you're not sure about the camera still, you could try look up camera reviews on youtube, they can be super insightful and helpful. C:

Also, I got mine cheaper through my brother being a camera salesperson. So it was about $750 but I think generally they're around the $1000 mark. I heard my photography teacher talking about it, and it's just a matter of waiting until good deals are on. Some stores you can sort of haggle prices (especially if you're going to pay in cash) and sometimes you can negotiate a better price if you say you're a photography student (or just say you're a student in general. )

Ah okay. c: yeah, that's a good idea. my mum suggested that i look some up on the internet. :3

i'm not sure that would work, since we'll probably get it with an interest deal or something. xD
