Actually, I love a good run in MSpaint! Once you know the ropes and figure out the shortcuts, it's pretty decent.
GIMP is lovely for my regular art, but Paint is my go-to for bases. xD

This is a very popular picture idea, and I since I did not directly trace the original, only referenced it as the requester asked, I will only be leaving a link in the description. But thank you for pointing me to the original creator, as the person who requested this apparently forgot to inform me that she was not the artist. x'I
And this is why I prefer doing all my own original bases now.
