that image popped into my head and i just had to make this xD first i made a lineart, and i started to colour it, but everythin looked too shitty, so i made another picture xD hope u'll like this version xD
and sorry fot the crappy background... i have to practise >.>

This is one of my favourite movies and you've done it justice in this artwork.
On a side note: I've been looking through your gallery and I love your style. Your colouring is superb and I am very jealous much. This picture is no different! (and the background is lovely. It suits this image very well. I need practice on my backgrounds though >_>)

It was kinda sad that Sophie's hair never went back to brown, that they stayed grey. But they still look beutiful, shiny.

Well, while I still adore Miyazaki's version because of it's absoltely stunning animation, when you read the book and realize that he bascially took the characters and used them to show the world his view on war...it kinda dimmed my adoration for the movie a bit

hmmmm it does have sense... but still we have to remember that he had to choose only a few thingz from the book to make a movie no longer than 2 hours. that's the main problem in making movies... ;__;
