Description Resting in his gilded throne,
A king ruminated about his actions,
His thought unfinished
When the grand doors became ajar.

An intellectual
To the naked eye;
A cynical alchemist to the king.

" Herein this flask I hold
A venom fit for a titan. "
He shook the container
And superficial bubbles appeared;
Each containing death.

A smirk and a knock later, someone else entered.
A bow on his back, and a silent step
That rivaled silence itself.
The archer glided across the chamber
Until he stood beside the so-called scientist.

The king smirked once more.
" My warriors,
My blades that cut through the bloodshed
And lead me to a new dawn,
Welcome to the beginning of the end,
The beginning of the last dawn.
That venom there is the key
To our, and only our, salvation. "
