I actually got all four of mine out at the same time and I never needed to take any painkillers.
THE SECRET IS TO CONTINUOUSLY ICE IT. ICE IT FOREVER. And then you won't swell up at all. c;

Thanks so much. (: The surgery went exceedingly well and on my pain meds the pain so far is pretty minimal. I didn't have to ice my face either! ahah
Excited for my dads mashed potatos for dinner tonight! Yummm, hes so lazy he only makes them for christmas/thanksgiving etc. xDDDD having all four out so far, has been really good so far because I could barely bite down, they really just did not fit in my jaw well. Though I still avoid biting down for now, but when everything heals!

Ohmygoshh youuu with your mashed potatoes. I haven't had any in ages because the azn way demands rice instead. :b You should totally learn how to make them so then you can have them whenever you want. xD
Oh yes, definitely avoid biting down for now. Apparently you're supposed to avoid using straws too. :d Mine never came out far enough for me to have a problem biting down, haha. They basically just dug into the gum and chipped them out. :I

I'm guessing you reminded him this time? ;b I know what you mean though, heh. Most of the Chinese food I make doesn't take too long to cook, but once I start doing things like pasta. Maaan, does it take forever!

I remember them telling me it's usually the first few days that are possibly dicey if you start swelling up and stuff. x:

Oh, definitely! Most of the Chinese dishes I make don't have much of a prep time, so it's pretty fast cooking. Probably good after coming home from work though! xD
