The bright neon purple contrasts with the dark, more murky colors so it give it a special kind of pop to it. The lighting makes it extremely hard to shade, but you seriously nailed it! Although this is a cartoony style, I would recommend adding more detail to the hole in his chest so it has a bit more of a realistic style to it, if that's what you're aiming for.
