Description
Finally finished a portrait this evening of actress "Evangeline Lilly" from the TV series "LOST."Hope it looks very similar to her image and that you all like it.
Took aproxminately 18 hrs to complete in my spare time.
Used:
Graphite Pencil H
Derwent Colorsoft Colored Pencils
White Pastel
Kneaded Eraser
Tissue
Black Charcoal

Anymore these days I thought that I live a sheltered life.
As I age....I don't like sudden changes.....but have dealt with some over the years. Like for instance, every 3 yrs I get a new cell phone, then I have to learn all about it's functions. Every year they're always upgrading the apps and functions that all phones can do, and then my phone that I have becomes outdated after only owning it for a year.
But, I figure that I might as well get used to changes and all because it keeps my mind working and learning new technologies. Wouldn't want any cob webs accumulating in my brain.

I'm a bit of a techno-phobe myself I only got a computer last summer because I bought myself and Kelsey digital cameras and we needed to have one to put our photos on , my son nearly had a nervous break-down trying to show me how to work the camera and the computer lol

17 yrs ago, I used to have a computer and in which that is how I had met my husband. 
But then my hard drive crashed and I didn't get it replaced because I wanted to eventually buy a whole new computer. But that didn't happen, and it took me and my husband 14 yrs before we bought a computer. He didn't even bring his old one along when we moved in together, it was ancient.
So, we have only had a computer for 2 yrs and I had to learn a lot real fastthe first year if I wanted to get around on it and know what I'm doing.
My oldest sister is afraid of them, it intimidates her. lol

yes my sister only started using one when we went to college and she will not use a digital camera even though I gave her one , so she is worse than me lol

This has some pastel like qualities to it. Great colors and stroke.Always fascinating to me to look at the movement the artist used to create the work .Thats what I miss about only working in digital
