Description Someone else had already done this one before on dA, and so I had to try and see if I could draw her also.
It isn't quite the way I wanted it look....but it'll have to do for now.

I enjoy drawing people more than anything else, although can probably draw just about anything I set my mind to.

Hope you all enjoy viewing her!

Took 52 hrs to complete.
Used graphite H pencil, 4B, 6B, mechanical pencil 02,
kneaded eraser, and cotton pad.

I drew this right after I returned to drawing again after putting it on the backburner for several years. I am very rusty...but slowly it's coming back to me.

Yeah, it isn't always that easy to draw portraits and try to make it look exactly like the person. The hair and teeth are the most tiresome and difficult to get it right. I wish that my portraits looked more realistic, but I'm still rusty a bit after having put it aside for 15 years and now just took it back up. Life has a way of keeping a person busy doesn't it?

Shadings have always been somewhat difficult for me. I'm trying to learn the technique of shadings...but it's slowly coming. Too bad that I didn't get that opportunity to attend an Art Institution like I always wanted to do.

Have any suggestions on shadings?

well umm.. always shade the background darker than the object u draw, and for the eyes,try to make it as dark as possible to be look realistic.
and put a lot of details if possible.
