BRUH what a year -- most eventful of my life so far. in a good way, for the most part.

it's almost 6 am and I just finished up an exhausting series of finals, buuut now its over for you bitches I'm gonna draw cats now, or maybe just go to sleep.

this year didn't exactly go where i was thinking in terms of art but looking back at what i've drawn this year, it... definitely feels more Me. which is nice. because I'm not sure who that is at the moment, but at least if anyone asks i can show them this meme. (I promise i won't actually do that)

2019 and 2018 have been one long painful identity crisis, but i'd like to think I'm getting somewhere, even if it doesn't feel that way. most of what happens in my personal life can be summarized by the term "much ado about nothing" -- and that sort of encapsulates the experience I'm having. The more I think about who I am the more I realize there is no substance to my personality and that, rather, I am the amalgamation of 23 years of being labelled this and that and leaning too much into what i was bullied for in my childhood years but also not really wanting to do that, but also, I can't separate my ego from my id and I've just been thinking way too much, there are two wolves inside me and i hate them both, and in short I really would like to turn my brain off in 2020 y'all!

regardless, this was a very social year for me... a lot happened, not always good, but it certainly made me feel glad to be alive and able to experience this impending dystopia with you all. which is really all we can ask for in this day and age, I feel like.

good things that happened:
- lots of concerts
- lots of new acquaintances, a few new friends
- reconciled with my estranged mother!?!?
- i got another cat, his name is Claude
- ...and also fire emblem
- FINISHED MY JUNIOR YEAR
- did some cool stuff with other artists, met some really cool artists and people!!
- lots of vibes
- OH I MET sweetcroc IN PERSON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OUR LIVES?? he's been my best friend since 2009 and we finally duked it out irl
- i also met trinnnn and patiens back in march!! and pose-y back in january (feels like forever ago jfc)
- HOW COULD I FORGET PARADISE RISING... this deserves its own subsection but in short i really really am just having so much fun in PR, thank you calstan and thank you to everyone else in tthe group for making me feel like i belong somewhere... can't wait to see what happens in the next three trials, you are all such wonderful people with wonderful characters who I am so glad to know TT___^^ PR RISE UP

side note but i also talked to a big artistic inspiration of mine (Mark Foster @ foster the people ) who i texted after he put a number online and HE ACTUALLY REPLIED so i was very hype about that, love that man

and i love YOU GUYS!!! happy holidays, i hope 2020 is good to all of us in ways that 2019 wasn't 🎉🎉🎉
