Description
Korra ran home hoping Mako would not follow her. How could he act this way? I guess she would be mad if he hung out with Asami and he didn't tell her. But what could she do? Their parents were friends. When Korra got home she couldn't sleep, instead she sat on next to her window, staring out the window. Soon she saw Bolin and Mako walking with the big Polar Bear Dog and the small Fire Ferret Pabu. She hid herself from being seen by anyone. She didn't want to talk to anybody, she wanted to be alone, in her thoughts. She heard her door creek open a little bit.  She couldn't handle anybody right now. She closed her eyes pretending to be asleep, hoping they would go away. She heard a deep sigh then the door closing. She finally relaxed but then she heard the door reopen. She closed her eyes calmly then she smushed her eyes together tightly as she heard deep footsteps coming to her area. She felt a small kiss over her forehead then she heard the mans voice " I... I'm sorry Korra" The young man said. Korra then knew it was Mako who was there. He soon started walking away until a tug was pulled on his arm as he soon saw Korras hand on his arm, but she still had her head down with her eyes closed.

He grabbed her hand and squeezed it softly and he touch her chin with his other hand making her look in his direction but still having  her eyes closed and her head down. Mako felt horrible, she still felt upset and he needed to tell her about him and asami.   " Korra, I'm sorry, you were right, my jealously got in the way. But Korra, please, don't forgive me. I-" Korras head was still down but her eyes shot opened. Where was he going with this? " I... the day you went with your parents, Asami and I we were talking and we.." Mako was silent hoping Korra would she where he was going with this. Korra took her hand out of his and then made a fist and again smushing her eyes shut hard again. She waited for Mako to respond but he would not respond to her. " Well go on!" Korra said angryly. " We kissed" Korra's eyes popped open. She pulled her head while looking at him then looking at the window while putting her had on the window. " What do you mean you both kissed."  -+Korra said. " Please let me explain I-"  " What Mako? That you still have feelings for her?!"  " No! It wasn't that at all."  " Then what is it Mako? 'Complicated', One time thing, It didn't mean anything?" Mako was silent. When he tried to talk Korra wouldn't have it. " I heard those words out of the same mouth so many times, it doesn't even seem like real words now! So if that was what you were going to say, let me save your breath by understanding."  " Korra, Please hear me out!" Mako put his hand on her shoulder but before he could she got up and stood in the middle of the room. " Maybe this was a mistake. You coming here. I invited you here so I could tell you how i feel about you but how could I if your not even sure how you feel about me?"  " Korra! I am sure how I feel about you! I love you! Not Asami! I came here to see you, Hopeing We could be together!"  " Mako, I don't know. I think I'm gonna regret seeing you again" Korra said almost tearing up while she ran out of her room outside into the cold snow. She didn't care if at this time at night, it was at its coldest. She felt cold inside of her. Korra never let Mako talk. He never told her it was Asami who had kissed him and he have shoved her away.

// A Few Days Later//

It was finally time for the brothers, Asami, And Tenzin and his family to leave back to Republic city. Mako and Korra haven't talked ever since that day. Mako tried talking to Korra but Korra wouldn't even want to be in the same room as him. Mako wanted to scoop her up in his arms and tell her hes sorry and he will always love her. Mako was packing up his stuff. Korra sat on her bed facing the wall opposite from the door. The door creeked open. Mako kept doing this those days trying to talk to her but Korra would shoo him away or leave the room. She heard footsteps coming in her direction. " Mako! I don't wanna talk to you!" Korra said getting up not facing him. '' You don't even want to talk to me?"  " Oh! Its Just you Bolin!" Korra was suprised. She thought it was the EarthBenders brother. " I came to talk to you." He said walking up to her. " Listen, if your here to talk to me about Mako, I really don't want t-"  " Just listen, I know you think Mako was being selfish  but," The Earthbender sighed " I know it was wrong but, I watched what happen, I knew  I shouldn't have But, at the same time I think it was good that I watched."  " Watch him kiss another girl?"  " No, Him trying to pull away from Asami while she kissed him. And him yelling at her that he loved you, Korra, and only you." Korra's eyes shot out of her eyes, Bolin only spoke the truth. " Bolin, are you sure?"  "Why wouldn't I be sure? I saw the whole thing, Heard the whole thing."  " Bolin, I know your telling the truth, you never told a lie, ever. How could I not trust you?" Korra said smileing. " So... Whats going to happen with you and Mako?"  Korra sighed. She  just gotten the news. But even though she trusted to what Bolin had seen, she didn't know how to take this. Her anger for him was still in her body. " I don't know.. I mean Mako apologized a million times and i guess I forgive me but, I don't think I'm ready to be with him so soon." Korra could see the sadness in the EarthBenders eyes. " I remember Mako a few months back, When he dated Asami, Even though he was with her, he couldn't stop talking about you.

It was a months ago, Mako was still with Asami but he started to fall for the Avatar. Mako was just making dinner and he just got back from a private training practice with Korra. Mako was more happier than usual. " Hey Mako, why are you so happy?"  " Oh. Umm.. I'm just being my regular self." Mako couldn't stop smiling, he had such a great time with Korra. " Mhm. What did you and Korra do  today?" " We just trained."  " By the looks of it, it must have been a really fun training! Can I ask, do you like Korra?" " What?! No! I mean, I'm with Asami!"  " What about when you two kissed?"  Mako knew he could trust his brother. " I guess its pretty obvious huh?" " Yea! I mean when ever she comes over, you clean yourself up and the house before she comes, and everytime were at practice, you guys always spar together then end up falling on eachother and act like its nothing, and when ever yall are together yall are being all playful and flirty"  Well she is pretty amazing and sometimes I wish my feelings for her didn't grow so fast, especially when i'm with Asami."  " Well I mean, you guys already kissed, you can't hide your feelings for her."  "yea, I mean, She is special to me and I see her everyday, even if I don't want to see her, I don't really got a choice. I mean shes-" Mako had went on and on about Korra and forgot his brother was even there " Shes strong, funny, amazing beautiful, and shes the Avatar." Mako could have went on but didn't when he heard his brother laughing and holding his stomach. " Looks like your lovesruck!"

" I remember mako always being happy after hanging out with you, he would go on and on about you everyday. I gotta say it got annoying, but i knew my brother was in love deeply with you. He even talked to himself sometimes of how great you were. At first I thought it was funny until he talked about you 24/7!" Korra let out a laugh then her  heart sank, Mako was that in love with her? I mean she talking to the 2 airbender girls about mako but not as much as bolin described Mako. " Maybe soon but, I don't know, Even though I forgave Mako, I mean, Asami had kissed him. Asami! It maybe just be too complicated if Asami still had feelings for Mako. Maybe later and by later it may take a while for me and Mako to be what we were." Bolin and Korra could here the arbending children from outside saying that they were leaving. " Oh Bolin! I'm going to miss you so much! Gonna be a while until we see each other again!" Korra felt tears in her eyes as she leaned in to hug him. Bolin and Korra were so alike. He was like the twin-brother she never had. " I wish there was a way we could see eachother more often!" " Why don't you come with me and Mako in Republic City?"  " I don't know. It be weird that I'm a teenage girl living with two other teenage boys?" " I don't know, it be so fun! Team Avatar Unite!" Korra laughed to what Bolin had just said as she pulled away from the hug. I'm going to miss you!" They both said to each other as they walked outside.Everyone was still packing there things up. Mako was sitting on Oogi looking in the other direction. Korra wanted to go and hug him goodbye. As she hugged everybody good bye ( But not Asami or Mako) she felt tears in her eyes but, she didn't let them fall out of her eyes. She knew it be months before she could even talk to them.

It was hours after they left Korra moped around in her room. She didn't have alot of friends in the SouthPole. " Korra someones here to see you Korra!" Korras Mom yelled as she walked through the halls. Korra was laying on her bed with a pillow over her head. " Why hello Uh-vatar"
