I'm looking at this character, thinking about this raven angel, still staring at this canvas until I realize that the raven angel has disappeared before my eyes, and I'm now looking into this deep wilderness of darkness and danger,but looking through the eyes of this sad raven angel. Those tufts of white on his chest and his arm become the most delicate feathers, falling gently against a swirling night sky of gold and blue. It's really an amazing painting and I'm sure I'll keep coming back to it.
