11 according to string theory

lol - as far as physics goes at first it was 1 extra, then 7, then 10 now finally 11. Now that the Large Hadron Collider is working maybe string theory can grow up and start falsify some of the number of proposals. 11 is an interesting number in the kabhalha however... ein soph + the 10 serpheroth maybe

haha well in that case I'm hoping for 13 make it a Maya thing... I recently read a good book on the history of the Qabalah and its Greek origins. I find in humorous to see how monotheists like to claim pagan ideas as their own

totally. not to mention Christianity being a Dionysian Greek/Jewish hybrid with a dash of Zoroastrianism thrown in for good measure. opps i'm leaving out the Egyptian. When Egyptian Pelagian monks came to Ireland before Patrick they talked of Christ and the Druids were like 'Of course - the triple-god - we know him well."

haha yup it is sad... I get so pissed off and than amused when I see around the holidays sticker that say "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" or "Keep Christ in Christmas"

Update: of course during the Beaker culture they didn't have the technology to cast metals yet. Just the general idea..

thanks! i'd say you have a good eye for aesthetics - i think i grew up pouring over archaeology books. I like beaker stuff quite a bit actually. I was pointing out the Beaker ceramics to a friend a mine who's a traditional Japaneses potter when we were firing his kiln back in the spring. The Jōmon stuff he's pulls his inspiration from is quite similar.

I love this, it looks really ancient, in a Beaker culture sense.
