I have been planning to try and draw a more detailed eye 4 a long time now.I was just looking 4 the perfect picture to use as a reference!And yesterday...I finally found it !I accidentally discovered an extraordinary gallery that belongs to this talented photographer His works are very veery inspiring!Especially this one ------->[link]I have to say a big THANK YOU to him 4 allowing me to draw this gorgeous eye.!!!!

Amazing, when I first saw this I thought it was from photography, I love house the eye actutally looks like it has shine to it.
I have a somewhat related question too. I see that this is also you avatar, how did you get your drawing to be that small for it? I have a drawing I want for my avatar but it says its too big. Just wondering if you did anything specific.

Amazing piece, perfect range of values and your attention to detail is astonishing
One thing does kind of bug me, your use of line is very natural and organic except for the reflection of light on the eye. the rectangular shape really contrasts the rest and sucks you right into the middle first.
If that was what you were going for I apologize but it takes away a bit from the piece in my opinion.

And thanks for the critique as well.A couple of other people have told me that rectangular light seems off.So I guess it does.I didn't think it's not right since it's exactly the same in the reference photo.But when I think about it...you might be right.For some reason it looks kinda....artificial on paper.
I'll be more careful with light next time I decide to draw gigantic eye lol

yea i haven't written in about a year or so...i've been so caught up in life that I forgot what I loved to do...
I missed the little things..and it just took me a little bit to realize that the smallest things were what I was missing
