What do the Quadrant's mean? I'm fairly new to homestuck and don't get it yet....

The quadrants?
Well Matesprit is the equivalent of human lovers, like a married couple.
Moirail is like Best friends, a moirail's job is to pretty much help out eachother whenone is in a bind or sad.
Auspice is sort of like a quadrant where you make sure the Kismesis don't kill eachother.
Kismesis is where two people hate eachother so entensly that they're attracted to eachother.
The last two always confuse me a little on how to explain them.
