Now that we now the origins of the titans, Marley's fucked: the moment the IG sees a Marleyan strike a Eldian child its over for them. Bulldog tanks, heavy cruisers, F86 and even a damn (yet anachronistic) nuke couldn't really kill him, you think early WW1 guns will even make him notice it?

He stomps the whole verse really. He's essentially a giant metal Wolverine with guns.Β
Nothing in AoT can stop him. Even Marley/MeA/combined factions can't put him down. They can send as much Titans and drop all the bombs they want but he'll rebuild and come back. Not only that but the world of AoT has little to no experience with automatons or any technology that is above steam/industrial level at best. Iron Giant seems to operate on a much higher level.Β
AoT world is still in a sort've pre-WW1 era of tech. The Iron Giant took a nuke from a world with more better tech and still lived. The closest they have of beating him is Zerg rushing him with an unbelievable amount of Titans and he could still be alive after that. Majority of Titans are dumb and don't know that he will regenerate, and he's not a human/inorganic. Would common Titans even want to fight it even if they can't eat it? Also the smart Titans are too few and far between and could just get cocky. Founding Titan is featless so is excluded.Β
His only detriment is his speed but that won't matter since he is nigh-invulnerable to their attacks and has plenty of AoE. Plus if he's in character I doubt he'd go on a real adventure of destroying everything on sight. I think he'd be more into just taking in the scenery, befriending some humans, and maybe beating some Titans or some if they get in his way.Β

Even the real world can destroy AoT verse pretty well. I mean yeah Titans can be threatening but all it takes is bombing runs, artillery, and large caliber snipers aimed at their weak spots and they're basically taken are of.Β
It'sΒ also confirmed that most Titans can die easily to a simple 100mm cannon from a world where tech is pre-WW1. Imagine what modern cannons can do to Titans.Β
The only problems would be the smart Titans/Titan shifters but again they can die easily from the same things. If all is lost then bring out the nukes or Willy Petes.Β
I'd even argue even WW2 era Earth can handle it too.Β
The human-based factions are also a non factor, we simply outnumber, outmaneuver and have way better technology. Arguably even better leadership or morale too.Β

The Iron Giant can easily handle the basic, idiotic, titans. But the Titan Shifters are a different story that would give the Iron Giant a challenge. He's gonna have to be a gun if he wants to save humanity....

Same can be said about the Iron Giant also remember the Colossus Titan, armored titan, APE Titan and female Titan.
