)No kidding, my professor was lecturing AND posing on that stand for a while, and it reminded me of Simon! I quickly drew a sketch, and refined it by adding Simon's features! Sure, it's not the best sketch (it's SUPER slanted for one thing, derp), but I like it! Sort of resembles a "life figure drawing"!
And yes, that's the type of podiums my college has. 
Since this was a sketch, I lightly colored it, so you can see my raw lines of the sketch!
So there you have it, one of my FIRST sketches of Simon Foster!

LOL yeah, I was bored at the time! And my sketch is a bit slanted--perspective problems, bleh.
And yes, really, my professor was leaning on that stand like that! He was a pretty lanky person!
