Okay so uh story time
A few years ago this boy stayed with his family in my town for a summer, and it was the best summer. We have the same religion so he went to church with me too, and we were awesome friends that summer. (He actually flirted with me a couple times but I was like, Sophie Foster Level oblivious so I didn’t realize until months later 😳😫)
Anyway, the summer ended and he went back to his city a few hours away. I didn’t realize I had a crush on him until I saw him again after a while and I felt all happy and flustered and giddy and then I realized and I was like “🚨 DANGIT IM IN LOVE” (I had been anti-romance until that point lol)
Its been a couple years since then and I still see him every now and then. 😊💖
Anyhoo for some reason I was thinking about that today, and so I tried to draw what it felt like in that moment. I miss him. 🥲
