The Teen Titans are a death trap. Static would be much better off in the JSA. The JSA has a bunch of older superheroes training younger superheroes, making it safer to learn how to save people. They have a team doctor and a much lower mortality rate. (Plus, I'd like to see him interact with Lightening and Cyclone.)I chose Stargirl to represent the JSA because she's pretty much the leader of the younger part of the team. Wonder Girl is there because she's (still, I think) the leader of the Teen Titans. I don't know for sure, as I've dropped it. This image is a bit of an homage to Archie Comics' "Love Showdown."
Yes, I am ignoring the JSA's split into two teams. Because it is stupid.
Stargirl, Static, and Wonder Girl all belong to DC.

Static is on TT because fans had been asking for years, and Geoff Johns also wanted him when he's writing the book. He just joined at a bad (if not worst) time, in my opinion.

Well Dwayne McDuffie has already calmed down worried Static Fans whne he was nowhere tobe found on the cover of TT#83. Someone thought DC might try to kill him and McDuffie pointed out that DC isn't ALLOWED to kill him.

Actually Richie does exist in the Milestone comics as Ricky but does not be come a hero also Ricky is gay in the comic and I think that's whyΒ some fans of the show like Virgil and Richie.
But personally I like Virgil and Frieda together!

I started from the cartoon and now a comic fan. I like them both.
I think the main reason is that the cartoon and comics are for different groups of people, and actually it seems thatmost cartoon fans don't like/ignore the comic.
Anyway, I feel that there are more cartoon fans here on DA.

Starfire isn't a part of the Titans anymore. The original Titans broke up, Starfire and Cyborg joined the JLA.
The TeenTitans still exist, but BeastBoy rejoined them, and now he and Wondergirl are arguing over who's leader.
Static's gone back to Dakota, and it looks like he MIGHT leave the TeenTitans.
And yeah, The TeenTitans die off and argue too much. It bothered me when Kid Eternity was kidnapped and NONE OF THEM EVEN NOTICED.

I knew Starfire was joining the JLA, but I thought she was just going to double team it. Oh, well, give it a year or two and she'll be back with some group of Titans.
I hope Static gets his own series in Dakita, so he won't be as doomed as the rest of the Titans.

Well the original Titans tower, in New York, was torn down. Raven and BeastBoy are overseeing the TeenTitans on the west coast. And yeah, Starfire and Cyborg look more like they are going to hang out with the "adult" heroes now. Nightwing is playing Batman in Gotham until the real Batman comes back, but he'll probably stay in Gotham. I think the original Titans lineup is done for good.
The wonderdog incident was very over the top and unnecessary. On top of that, the father of kids it killed kidnapped one of the TeenTitans, Kid Eternity, because he has the ability to call up ghosts. NONE of the other TeenTitans have noticed that Eternity is gone :/
I really do hope Static gets his own comic again.

I hope Static can get his ongoing too, but at the same time I wish he can stay on the team. And from what I heard, DC cannot kill Static because they don't own him.

I'd really prefer him with the JSA. The group dynamic is much stronger. The Titans haven't really felt like a team in a while and when I was reading it, it didn't seem like Static had formed any bonds with anyone.

That's true. I've seen many discussions about this on boards. Someone actually suggetsted him to be on JSA, but it seems that more people prefer he and Blue Beetle go to JLA instead.

I just find it amusing, in a somewhat dark way, that a team with multiple members over the age of 70 have a better survival rate than a group of teens.
