Due to the feedback from my 2017 Retrospective post, I decided to go ahead and post this Kamala Khan (WIP).

I had posted it to Tumblr and Twitter, but I was holding off from posting it to Deviantart until I had actually finished the lineart and colors. Since it'll probably be a while til I can revisit this sequence, might as well post it.

There's not much of a story for this sequence. I was inspired by a story from the new Great Lake Avengers comic, which involved a beauty product derived from Big Bertha's mutant gene. The product was a pill called Good Bod which allowed the user to adjust their body weight at will. I decided to write a scenario where these pills somehow made it onto the market and jump started a "Big is Beautiful" fad where young people would temporarily bloat themselves as a fashion statement. Kamala is initially surprised by the sudden change in her friend's physique before crumbling to peer pressure and trying the cosmetic pills herself. Unfortunately, the pills don't react well to her natural Inhuman biology and leaves her immobilized in her new fattened form until the effects of the pill wears off.
