FINALLY A LUXRAY.
I've wanted to make one for yeaaaaaaaaars but I never had time to make one for myself and no-one commissioned him...until now! I was so excited about making him and I'd been planning him for so long that I churned him out in about 8 hours LOL. I'm suuuuper happy with how he turned out too. I was asked to make him closer to the actual in-game proportions instead of super chibi like most my Pokemon plushies, and I think he worked out great. I'm also super proud of all those color changes, complex changes like the blue/black on his face are things I would have satin stitched before, but I decided to push myself and make them into proper seams. It might not sound like a big deal but color changes, especially with lots of corners, are tough D:
Luxray stands at just under 11" tall to the top of his head, a little over 12" to the top spike. He's made out of minky with machine embroidered face, ear details and yellow stripes. His tail is also wired

Oh my, this plush is simply adorable. I own a Luxray plush myself as it's one of my favourite Pokémon. I didn't make him though. It would be cool to make one.

Do you have a pattern and if so could I have it? I'm wanting to make a lifesized Luxray plush and yours is the best I've seen so far. If you don't want to give me a pattern it's okay and I'd completely understand.

Are the yellow stripes on the front legs embroidered? Also, how did you get the yellow stripes on the front legs to stick out less than the blue parts?

yup the yellow stripes are embroidered. The minky I use has a 2-3mm pile while the stitches are completely flat, which makes it look like the yellow stripes are indented. The minky also has a bit of stretch while the stitches have none at all, which also contributes to the indented shape

This looks awesome!! Great job! You said you did a proper seams? How tough was that for you and would you mind telling me the difference? I thought satin stitching was the best thing to do but I'm just starting so idk that stuff yet

Oh wow, you made one of my fav pokemon. And it looks amazing! I've had the same one in-game since Diamond, and the only one I've actually raised from a low level up to 100. Mine is female though.
