WHEW! I wanted to get this guy done sooner than later because of how complex he was, glad I did! You're looking at 12 hours of embroidery alone, and just under 7 days of fulltime work OTLMalifore the Scarfox measures 15" tall not including his ears, and he's made out of minky and faux fur with tons of machine embroidered details. The fur was hand dyed with ink. He was supposed to be more of a ragdoll-style plush the ability to sit or stand but the big thighs made that impossible >:

do u have a base pattern you can sell? i have the worst time designing plushies and i've tried so many times... they end up looking like a pile of sewn crap...

But it sounds like you might need to slow down and focus on the basics before jumping into very complex projects like a Scarfox? Start with simple characters that use basic shape and learn how they work with each other, then work your way up to combining them and using unnatural shapes. If you're not sure about a pattern, test it in scrap fabric. That way you can modify it if it doesn't work out. Most important of all though, don't be afraid to make mistakes. On average most plushies in my gallery took 3 tries before getting the final version. My Scarfox pattern took 4. Some took as many as 6-7 tries. It's part of the process, don't let it discourage you

wow this is amazing! that embroidery had to take forever @_@
the whole ragdoll thing kind of throws me for a loop.. i really don't see how its possible without completely filling a plush with beans or having it be really wrinkly x_x

I was able to find a nice balance with my HTTYD dolls, where I would just lightly fill the joints with beans and use stuffing for the rest but this guy's hips were too big lol
