Description This is not much of a reproduction work, but more of distraction work I made over the years. The oldest pieces is Odin (in the center) made in summer of 2002, and the newest is Thor (to his right), made in winter of 2007.
From left to right, they're: Freyja, Heimdall, Thor, Odin, Tyr, Frey and Loki.
They were all carved with a victorinox.
I still have many to do; but I just don't have much free time, as I had back then.

Ps: They're about 5cm tall and 2cm wide. I don't know the name of the wood in english, the scientific name of the tree is Calycophyllum multiflorum.

it's lemonwood in English. Just got a 2 foot long section from a friend that's about 18cm in diameter. i have no idea how it found it's way here to Canada. Still has the bark on it.

Ahmm... I was thinking of Forseti, Balder and Njord mostly. So, yup, you got two out of three right
I still can come out with a good design for Forseti =/

Well, I have all ways seen Forsete as a younger version of Balder.
(mostly because he takes over his fathers position in Asgard after his death)

Hummm... since you draw (and are nordic and pseudo pagan ), I'd appreciate any sketch or impression you can make of Forseti. I really want to make a statuette of him, but I just can't imagine how to do it

This kind of wood is usually used to make broom handles, so you can get 4ft of it for just 1USD
