Description Here's part of the 11 Metre long piece of paper I had to fill with drawings for my first semester's work at Uni on my Animation course. It was a work of quantity over quality as you can see here. I scanned and stuck the whole lot together on the computer which can be found here [link] , but this bit features my own cartoon characters, Afro Goblin (driving the red car,) Bullion (his sidekick next to him,) Afro-no-Goblin (in the black car) with his mechanical arm and giant err flower power flower driving. Oh and cheese-men with laser guns! This is all part of my comic, a hurried black and white version of "Episode 1" can be found here [link] I plan to redraw it one day and make more episodes in colour! Maybe I'll even do an animation of it one day. More about the characters can be found here [link]
I need to get better at drawing cars lol. The red car is supposed to be an Alfa GTA and the black car is supposed to be a Lancia Fulvia. Since drawing this I've bought a model of an Alfa GTA so that'll help me draw it more accurately next time. Here it is pictured with an almost to scale painted clay model I made of Afro Goblin to go with it [link] I chose the Alfa GTA as I think it is a very pretty car. I chose the Lancia Fulvia for the bad-guy (Afro-no-Goblin) because I am a bit of a Lancia fan and also I think they compliment each other well and are similar in terms of size and styling. They might be a good match for each other in terms of performance too, I'm not sure about the technical aspects of the car! The Alfa GTA probably has the advantage power-wise but the Fulvia was a very successful rally car so it must be fairly nippy too! This picture was done with fineliner felt tips and watercolour pencils except for the sky which was watercolour paint. I forgot to add water to the watercolour orange pencil on the ground! Doh!
Oh, and if you check out the comic, please leave your thoughts in the guestbook (at the bottom of page 1 where it says "Sign guestbook" I would be very very grateful! Thanks!

I love how you draw dust clouds and explosion particles.
Great nack for cars.

But the flowers? are they sort of neutral in the battle of the goblin? I've seen them help both sides in your comic.

Funkeh looks like an action packed, yet suitably fun and silly car chase
Your style for Afro Goblin is usually good fun, and when it's in colour, it brings it out much nicer
