I wasn't going to comment as I haven't seen this series and don't know a thing about the character, but seeing that the comments here are a bit sparse I feel I should. I really love your art style in general, the way you combine elements of realistic coloring with anime, but the way you colored this in particular really appeals to me. The simple, parchment-like background really makes the colors in the characters outfit pop, I adore the highlights in his hair and the little details, like the tear ducts of his eyes which give them a roundness and life not usually there in anime. I love the artwork of anime, but sometimes it can look rather flat, but here the character feels full of life and personality, like he could jump off the page. I know it's old, and it's a very simple drawing, and I'm writing an awful lot, but I don't feel like it's ever the wrong time to pay someone a compliment. Great job ^.^
