Description
I get these wild kicks where I need to redesign and/or just drawl some clothes for characters XD This is Siolaan, the leader of the Warcrows warband. His war garb hasn't changed much, just added on some like... butt fluff or whatever that is I wrapped on his waist. Also it's tiny and you can't see it, but he has a gold septum ring now, too.

Siolaan Do'Kerellen is the Dadliest Elf, and he also figures largely in my current NaNoWriMo writing attempt for this year. He's sort of a mentor figure for Ferox, it's fun. You can check those out here:
WARBAND: Magus #1- ROC
  I estimated that I had ten to twelve seconds to cross the distance between where I stood and the ridge, before the massive claws of the Roc that chased me speared into my spine. It was descending fast from out of the cloud cover, almost invisible against the dreary gray sky. If I hadn’t been out there actively looking for it in the first place, it likely would have swooped down and eaten me before I’d even seen it. It had a curved, razor beak to match the deadly talons, silvery and fast like lightning in a storm of feathers.
     Twelve seconds. That was a bit on the generous side, since my pack and my chainmail weighed me down, and my boots were having trouble finding traction on the well-packed ice and snow. I had no trouble running in chainmail, sheathed sword bouncing on my hip and round-shield strapped over my shoulder. I’d trained like this almost all of my young life, and by timing myself I knew exactly how much groun
WARBAND: Magus #2- WARG
Working quickly and efficiently, the warband got the dead Roc bundled up and wrapped in a tarp looking thing, which I recently learned is called a kill drag. Oiled canvas folded in half over the carcass, which dragged easily over the snow and ice allowing the caribou to tow the Roc despite its grand weight. The kill drag was connected by ropes to the back of Ghaelen and Tanrakath’s caribous, the two riders pulling next to each other to make the haul easier on the animals.
    When everyone was ready to go, I sidled up to Siolaan’s leg and looked up at him. I wanted to ride with him, I had about a thousand questions to riddle him with while we rode. Siolaan gave me a look of surprise when I lifted my hand up to him, wanting him to pull me into the saddle behind him. I guess he’d expected me to ask one of the other men, but he took my hand anyway and tugged.
    Catching a ride with Ghaelen would have been the perfect excuse
