It only took about 18 thousand years but here we go! Finally the headless dolls have heads
The mould had an issue so I've had to order more silicone to make another but come next month I should have a nice collection of these guys up for sale.They DON'T have armatures, just soft squishy limbs weighted with polypellets.
I'll also be offering custom ones where you can pick the fur from my enormous collection! Awesome!
I don't have a price decided yet, I have to make a few more first, but they will be £100+

The white one reminds me of one of our alpacas. The fur is just perfect.
The paint job is really nice also.
And you are right, ribbons and bells with giant eyes really amps up the cuteness factor.

Thanks so much! I love alpacas, I wish I had some alpaca fur to play with. At the country shows that we go to they have knitted alpaca wool baby clothes and they are oh so soft but eye-wateringly expensive!

I've got 12 to shear at the end of May. The first cut (back and part of the neck) are already spoken for, but I have a bunch of second cut. The last time we donated the second cuts to a company that used the fiber to combat oil spills. The second cuts have lots of guard hair mixed in with the fiber, so it doesn't spin into the softest yarn.
My wife spins the first cut into yarn. She is able to sell it for a decent amount of money.
If it doesn't violate U.K. law, I can send you some of the second cut for you to experiment with. It is loose fiber (no skin attached), with some dirt, grass and moss (not too much). It might be useful for highlights and such.

Would you? That would be amazing! I know that *scenceable uses mohair on her unicorn sculptures so I tried to buy some to experiment with on my dolls but it's nigh on impossible to get ahold of, so some alpaca fur would be fantastic. It's okay to send as it's not an endangered species.
