To clarify a little, this is supposed to be an illustration of the illustration department at Duncan of Jordanstone. I took the range of emotions and characters we have in the department and turned them into little monsters.

With Beppe Wolgers, I think it's pretty spot-on.

On the first leaf that fall, sitting
small animals and you hear a perpetual giggle.
They stick to the edges of the leaves
in the throwing wind, and most of them are old ladies.
But otherwise the leaves would not swing.
They giggle a lot but cannot sing.
In the wet rain, jumping
small animals up on all the water droplets.
They puncture --- the drops' coating
and say: "Cheers!" and becomes gradually wider.
But otherwise the rain would not splash.
They're called pluver, coming from Alaska.

You do not really believe in this, do you?
But the song is about unknown animals.
Many are long and hard to catch,
many are not visible but are nevertheless!
Many are yellow and ugly and green and beautiful
and red or blue.
Many are big as houses or so,
but most they are small,
very small, very small.
