I love the stained glass windows in cathedrals as well.
None are quite so stunning as St. John the Divine's in NYC....if you are in love with the architecture of churches, go see St. John the Divine's. Really...I am not an overly religious person, and stepping foot in that place made me want to fall to my knees and weep.
But then again, I am a drama queen.
Beautiful capture of the best part of the cathedrals. ^_~
And you should totally check out SJtD in NYC for further photos and inspiration.
Love Always,
Kristin

It sounds very interesting. I'll have to remember that when I do actually go someday. I'd like to go back to savannah for some more photos of St. John the Baptist. Its a sad thing when people rush you to move on when you're not finished looking around.

I totally understand. Whats even sadder is when you don't bring a camera to somwhere because you doubt its beauty ^_~.
I went for a choir a year ago, and I ran out of film and didn't think to grab another roll. *sad* But I am going back next summer, and tres vair excited. I will have to post tons. ^_~
I really love how that picture turned out, I love how the wall frames it like it is a painting in a museum or something, yanno? I dunno, I totally dig it, it turned out beautifully, and I just love how the only light is from the window, and you can't see the walls around it.
