I haven't forgotten about Zera: Myths Awaken! Been meaning to draw something like this for a while now.

The top sketches features Zera the Axolotl-Bat Hybrid, now drawn in her finalized design and in my style, and the bottom sketches features her ally (and personal Sparx stand-in), Kiwi the Wingray. The sketch of Kiwi sadly waving goodbye is supposed to be my take on her "death animation" after Zera loses her health, in which Kiwi flies up to the screen, waves goodbye, and flies off. I wonder if Kiwi might take some lumps of her own in this game. Possibly not, seeing as how the creators revealed that she is a baby Wingray. The bottom right sketch features Zera hugging Kiwi because I can definitely see both of them having a sisterly-like bond during their adventures.
