It really looks like there's a forge fire inside his chest, and his beak and talons are glowing from the heat.

This is absolutely amazing!! I love how it looks like the bird itself is on fire underneath the feathers, rather than just the feathers being hot (as it is with most phoenix illustrations)... it adds so much interest to the piece.

Wonderful, wonderful job, I can't wait to see more artwork from you!
