She is the younger sister to Queen Aaffeite from the Seirei Kingdom, and mother to Iathea.

Her appearance is the spitting image of her daughter Princess Iathea, while the princess shares her father's eyes.
As queen, her crystal was formed from her mother's Onseishu that split into two between her and her older sister Aaffeite. Now, her crystal is shaped as an anemone in her name's color with four gems representing her court's main colors. She was the first to become a senshi from her planet Tejina, and that carried down to her daughter Iathea, and now to Iathea's daughters.

She's the second queen to rule to Mahouseki Kingdom after her mother's disappearances from her coronation as queen. When she was a princess, she was bright and elegant to grace the palace but it came to hardship between her royal duties and her dream; freedom in the outside world. Most of her life, she was always in the study room or in the library attending to her studies but still wanted to explore some free time but her own mother couldn't let her. The two always had a strained relationship because the queen wanted her daughter to become the perfect princess, an mirror like herself. But Alexandrite had to give up her dream and just wanted to make her mother happy. As days went on, she was under the guidance by her mentor Takaru and her chosen courts, Zula, Samana, Ayase and Naiya.

As the years went on as Alexandrite become a young woman, she was appointed by a chosen suitor from her mother named Prince Azurite. To the princess, he was very charming and hot, and was so into him. During the celebration, Alexandrite as crowned queen as her mother disappeared. There, she and Azurite were all over the moon ith each other which led to countless nights together. She learned about being pregnant with his child, and he was so delighted but had to go for something important. Heartbroken Alexandrite had to resume her duties without him and the possibility of seeing his child. Soon, Alexandrite given birth to a beautiful princess named Iathea. She looked so gorgeous and had her father's eyes. To Alexandrite, was a blessing and went on as a devoting mother and the two blossomed doing things together.

As her daughter became into her teens, she was going to step down to give the crown to Iathea as queen during her birthday celebration alongside with her chosen suitor Aruto Knight. But the celebration had to end when Alexandrite's former lover returned by betrayed and double-crossed her by revealing his true self; Kidate. From there, he has destroyed countless of kingdoms including the queen's court's kingdoms which to Alexandrite dismayed and sadden. They all transformed one last time to fight him, but one by one dies leaving Alexandrite alone.

No with no other choice, she uses her own life source with the combined power from her crystal and along with her fallen court's life and power. But to her demise, it backfired leaving Kidate's body to be destroyed and only his entity alive. With the last of her power, she sealed him along with his servants to Earth in a deep dark realm. It also sended the guys and the girls to Earth as well to be reborn.

This was finally over and Alexandrite dies by seeing them going to Earth by tears in her eyes. " Have a brighter future and don't make the same mistake I did."

In the future where Iathea becomes queen of the Neo Mahouseki Kingdom, she becomes a grandmother to Iathea's girls; Miyuu/Princess Asuka and Mikoto/Princess Iolite.
