This was one of the last major 2D animated films, wasn't it? I know Disney made two a few years ago, but it doesn't seem like they reinvigorated the medium as they hoped. Iron Giant is the last film of its status that I can remember being 2D.

I'm pretty sure I've never had a government job before, but I do like imposing my will on other people and not having to worry about the consequences of my actions. Clearly, this man is a hero.

I think it was, it came out in 1999. as much as I like 3d films, I wish there were more 2d films.

Ah, the 90's. Maker of such great things as Disney's animated features, Batman: The Animated Series...and eldritch abominations like G.I. Joe Extreme. Like anyone with red blood, I'm always down for a Pixar movie, but I miss the 2D world as well. If nothing else, it's cheaper than 3D, right? Still, I guess that's like trying to entice a kid with a Super Nintendo: it was cutting edge for its time and still has a lot to offer...but it's not the latest thing.

Make this man for president. Giant robot crime will be cut in half over night!

I also love him for his platform on stronger kid-control laws. That'll keep the little brats in line.
