Description After about a year of procrastination I finally drew Cortana!This is my first time drawing her and I must say this drawing probably isn't my best work but I thought would give it a try, I found Cortana insanely hard to draw due to all the little details and shading and the fact that for some reason i rarely draw woman. But maybe ill draw her again in the future idk. I drew Cortana based of her Halo 4 character model and took maybe 6 or 7 hours to complete and drew her using 2H,HB,2B,4B,and,6B Pencils Hope you all will enjoy it!also if theirs something want to see me draw next let me know cause im running out of ideas. Also here's a question for those of you who finished Halo 4's campaign SPOILER ALERT do you think Cortana's actually dead and do you think she'll return in future Halo games?

Sorry, I'm late, Chris!!Β  I was on a mini-vacay.Β  We went to stay on a family farm for a week. It was wonderful!Β  We'll be taking off for Hawaii in a few days so then I'll be gone for a month!!Β  They don't have internet where I'm going either so if you don't hear from me, you'll know why.

I had to Google Cortana but now I know who she is.Β  I'm the Halo illiterate, remember.Β  I hope she's still alive.Β  The youtube videos show a cool character.Β  That's right, you rarely do female characters. I only remember you doing Midna, which I knew from Zelda.Β  Midna rocks.Β  Full frontal face portraits are hard.Β  Profiles and partial turns are easiest for me.Β  The noses are easier to do.Β  Full frontal noses are really hard to capture.Β  You did great.Β  It really does look like her.

So I'm getting this sense that you want her resurrected.Β  Yeah, I'm sure guys would love to have her back. She's the only girl character among a whole lot of testosterone.

It's ok! i was wondering why i hadn't heard from you. hope you had fun on your mini vacation! And Hawaii that sounds like a lot of fun I've never gone but it sounds like it's a really fun place! And yeah Cortana's death was really sad but not many people including myself think she's actually dead and will be resurrected someway in the future. And yeah I think you're right Midna may have been the last woman I drew and I agree she's awesome and I'd love to draw her again in the future! I definitely need to do some more zelda drawings in the future i have just been playing Halo multiplayer non stop these days it's highly addictive! And I agree full frontal portraits are very hard and I usually prefer drawing faces at an angle. But I was up for the challenge and I am happy you like it!

My sister and I were goofing around and we found this youtube HALO video with all these hardcore fan websites and I thought you might be interested in them if you didn't already know about them.Β  One's called bungie something and another one's called red versus blue, and other cool fun stuff.Β  It was pretty funny because the woman who voices Cortana went on a tour of the US trying to find out why people loved Halo so much.Β  Very interesting to someone like me who barely knows anything about the game. It was very informative on a grassroots level.

I have actually seen this video before. I love Jen Taylor she's such amazing voice actress! I have been on all of these web sites Red vs Blue is hands down my favorite web series ever! You should give it a try I know many people who watch it and Β never played a single Halo game. It's so epic and hilarious!

Thanks! I agree the details are such a pain to draw. I nearly rage quit several times while drawing this cause of all the details but i am glad it turned out to be decent!Β

I have no problems with drawing chief even chief is technically harder to draw cause of all the details with his armor but I'm just really used to drawing chief because I've drawn him so many times
