Part One

At long last! The second half of my Tokka Alphabet project. This is part of an illustration project I started in 2012 to accompany some of my old fanfics I was updating. You can find the fics on FF.net and browse the archives of each entry on Tumblr .

There are some obvious differences between this and the first half. For one, I started the project using Copics, but they started running dry halfway through and I switched to all digital. In the process I came upon a digital painting process that mimicked how I worked with Copics. Huzzah! Things got interesting again towards the end when I was due to draw the piece for T, which you probably noticed if you followed me at all... long story short, I lost all will to do art in the face of my unrealistic expectations and the project went on hiatus for ten months. Then when I finally resurrected the will to continue my style magically evolved. Huh.

Even though this project was a major factor in my huge artblock last year, I hope it's taught me how to avoid such blocks in the future. Plus, I did finish it like I said I would. I WILL OVERCOME. RAWR.
