My puppy also has a liver shunt ):
But, we can not afford the surgery :\
so I just keep him on a low protien diet which seems to be working wonderfuly.

My sister recently planted out the grave of our family dog who died of what we assume was aggressive cancer last November. I never got to see him again b/c I moved from Australia to Florida
