Description A couple months ago I was watching a Failrace stream on youtube, and a driven till destruction stream was going on. If you don't know, the driven till destruction series is a challenge where vehicles in the super-realistic softbody simulator BeamNG.drive are driven around a brutal destruction circuit as hard as possible until they break down or otherwise stop moving. the results can range from disappointing to catastrophic failure.
Often, cars will have axles break, engines overheat & lock up, steering fail or in some cases the body even falls straight off the frame. Most vehicles don't make it past their second lap of the race.

This Legendary little car mod was a faithful re-creation of the 84 vw rabbit gti with an offroad trim. This little thing just didn't die. A whole lotta things broke, of course, but nothing stopped the car outright for an oustanding amount of time.
to name a few of the things that the car overcame: the rear hatchback broke and eventually fell off. the tires got absolutely shredded. the rear driveshaft broke, making it a front wheel drive for half the race. every suspension piece on the car broke or twisted, making exactly none of the wheels track in a straight line. the front and back left wheels eventually fell off outright, making it a one wheel drive car. for much of the race, the two front wheels pointed in opposite directions. the right door hung on by one hinge. the roof buckled; (i cut it off in my rendition), and the hood fell off as well. the headlights fell out, and the front bumper barely hung on. the rear bumper didn't. the engine mounts failed, making the engine flail about wildly. the body of the car started to come off the frame, of which itself was bending horribly.
This absolute wreck of a car finally came to a rest after almost TWO HOURS and FIFTEEN LAPS around the destruction circuit. (I'm pretty sure the record before that point had been around seven or eight laps, done by a heavy-duty logging truck which had bent so much down the middle that the rear set of duallies didn't touch the ground and driveshaft eventually snapped in two.)

After the stream, I absolutely had to make a tribute to that legendary run. I've been putting off posting it due to making the description, but it's seriously too good not to share.
