This was a long, yet fun project to do, around the same amount of fun as I got when I was doing The Loudest Mania! This drawing was essentially inspired by justD3F with his drawings of some characters in The Loud House dressing up as certain Sailor Guardians/Scouts, like Luna and Sam being Sailor Uranus and Neptune , respectively. Thanks for the inspiration, bro! You rock!
Now, why did I have Luna, Sam, and Roxy (Rocker QT) be the Sailor Starlights (or the Ogoede Starlights? (Ogoede is a “merged-in-text” term of the word “Loud” in Japanese, by the way.)) Well, for 2 reasons:
1.) Like the Sailor Starlights, the trio have a interest of music. I know it’s not the SAME music (and that the Starlights band was a ‘cover-up’ to avoid trouble from Sailor Galaxia and her Shadow Galactica), but still.
2.) I felt like out of all of the characters who could be the Ogoede Starlights, the 3 I chose was the best fit (in my perspective.) Not as a great as The Loudest Mania (along with not knowing a lot about Sam and Roxy as much in either or show OR the comics), but (again), it still works. Rocker QT (or Roxy, as I like to call her) is Sailor Star Maker, because of how both of them could look rather mysterious (at least in terms of appearance.) Sam is Sailor Star Healer due to them having the bright-colored haïr of the team. And lastly Luna as the leader Sailor Star Fighter, because of how I could see Luna being the potential leader and the big-hearted, like Star Fighter to a certain degree. (They also have a lesbian crush on another character.)
So, again this was a fun one to do! One thing I do wish I could do (and/or someone else) is to make a fan animation based on this (in the Loud House animation style)...
