Ah... a simple but new costume. I'm not wearing this to a con because the shoes tend to kill me for they are really really uncomfortable.And the dress is really short XD
But I love the wig, it's really nice
Yeah... I'm not fit to cosplay girls like this, dunno XD I think Maya suits me well enough, but it's also really weird. I'm not good at posing all womanly either *lol*
But I overall like cosplaying as girls. Maybe I'll find some nice characters in the future. The normal moe - character is not for me.

Looking good, spot on I'd say. The pose is pretty cool I don't think the character has a womanly attitude anyway, she's more of an authoritarian or aggresive tomboy.

Well if you want a girl character to cosplay that won't end up killing you in the end try Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club. She is a girl, but she is a tomboy and often dresses like a guy.

Maya! She's so awesome, I just loved how nonplussed she was at everything going on in the first episode. As for posing more like a girl, maybe you should try standing with your feet closer together, it looks a bit awkward here especially with how short the dress is. One of the poses I remember seeing her in the anime a lot was sitting in a chair with one leg crossed over the other and glaring at someone/something, maybe that would work better?

I agree with you about cosplaying girls. I don't crossplay unless they're girlier guys, but I don't pull off cutie girls well. I have to do bitchier characters like Paine and Lulu.

I've never heard of this anime, but I looked it up. Compared to the actual character, you have this cosplay down really well. Yes the dress is short, but you have nice legs ;D. I like the pose and the expression. Keep up the good work!
