This is my own original character, Blaine Vektor taken over by his alternate personality, Dominic. Some of you might already know him, but here I'm finally going to provide more information about him.

Blaine has a severe case of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). This disorder was formerly titled Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD). It is brought upon by a series of intensely traumatic experiences, typically in early childhood. DID makes an individual's mind kind of "run away" from the harsh reality of life, and is replaced by a completely different personality, another identity, usually referred to as an "alter".

***BEWARE! THE FOLLOWING MAY BE TOO UPSETTING TO READ! I'll try to keep it as clean as possible so as not to disturb you guys. But it has to be said and explained.***

-Blaine's Early childhood: Blaine was born the only child of two young parents. He lived with both his parents, his uncle, and his cousin for the first few years of his life. Neither parents had so much as a high school degree. His parents were clearly raised badly, because they didn't raise HIM very well. His father was an aggressive alcoholic that repeatedly physically and verbally abused Blaine. His mother was often a victim as well, but she also participated in the giving end of the abuse. His uncle was educated but lacked enough money to have his own home for himself and his son (Blaine's cousin). Blaine's uncle sexually assaulted him on several occasions and forced Blaine to have confused emotions and thoughts regarding his sexuality at the young age of 6 (he has admitted to his psychiatrist that it may have triggered his current bisexuality). As for his cousin, Blaine was always being ridiculed and tortured.

-Blaine's different Identities: Blaine Vektor is the "host alter", meaning he is presumably the original personality of the man who contains so many personalities within him, and is the identity that gets the most..."life time". Blaine's first alter (Clyde) came out at the age of 8. His second came out at 14 (Dominic). His third came out at age 18 (Henry). And his fourth alter came out at the age of 21 (Sebastian). These are his four main alters and I will give more information about each of them individually when I post their own..."portraits" later. Blaine does have more identities that have revealed themselves (like Peter), and more probably will in the future. But those four are the alters that come out the most often when Blaine transitions, and they have the clearest personalities.

-Blaine's Appearance: Blaine is an attractive Caucasian male, weighing 181 pounds, standing at 6'1", with bright blue-green eyes. His most notable feature is his long, messy, dark red hair. As a child, his mother would always shave his head, to keep it under control, and Blaine hated the feeling of being so exposed due to the extreme low self-esteem and anxiety. Now that he has broken away from his abusive family, he has grown out his hair out of defiance. However, occasionally, he will have mental fits where he will feel guilty and take scissors to his mane, resulting in the different lengths causing the messy appearance.

One piece of hair, in the front, covers a scar going down from his forehead to under his right eye at an angle (he keeps it like that intentionally, for he feels shame toward his scars and wants to hide them). This scar was caused by a cut when Blaine's father took a blade to his face for sneaking out of the house one summer day (he wanted to watch the clouds, poor kid). Blaine has one other noticeable scar starting over his right pectoral, going up over his clavicle, and down the entire right side of his back. This scar was caused by a burn his cousin had given him for his own sick sadistic pleasures.

*Though Blaine Vektor suffers from emotional trauma and personality disorders, it is important to note that NONE of his alters are self-abusive or suicidal. This is quite rare for patients who possess DID. Blaine is typically a timid, but kind individual who is determined to get through his problems and live a happy life, though it will take many years of successful therapy.

That is a very, very brief explanation of my character, Blaine Vektor.

***NOW ABOUT DOMINIC: Dominic was the second alter to ever come out in Blaine. He first appeared when Blaine was 14 years old at the end of the 8th grade. His cousin took him to a high school party where one intoxicated, older girl took him upstairs to a private bedroom. Understanding that he was about to do intimate things with a stranger, Blaine suddenly transitioned and Dominic took over for the first time.
Dominic is Blaine's "naughty" personality, full of sensual and lustful thoughts most of the day. Dominic is very confident with himself and greatly enjoys showing off his fit body (fortunately Blaine has a serious exercise regimen). Unlike Blaine, his scars do not make him uncomfortable, Dominic actually thinks it makes him look sexier. Dominic often seduces random strangers at bars, the gym, the mall, basically ANYWHERE. He often complains about being "horny" and feels the need to sleep with at least one person a day (depending on how long he is in control of Blaine's body).
Dominic most often takes the role of the dominant partner during sex. However, on special occasions, he is absolutely submissive. These times are when his partner is a male. Dominic's bisexual tendencies may be a result of sexual abuse received from Blaine's uncle as a child. But that is still not certain.

Blaine often feels ashamed of Dominic's actions.
